Message from the Chairman
SORAP brings together the main providers of field sales and marketing services. Between them, these companies account for more than 80% of turnover of the profession and use 50,000 workers in the field. SORAP plays an essential role in the sector as the preferred point of contact for public authorities and social partners, as well as advertisers, distribution channels, and the media.
At the start of my first year as Chairman, I would like to thank the previous Board of Directors and its Chairman, FABRICE PIERGA, for their work during the last four years.
I continue on the course set and confirmed with the election of the new Board of Members, i.e. the development of field sales and marketing: in terms of prominence, value, thanks to value-added services; by developing existing services, but also by being innovative in both traditional and new sectors; and by allowing new members to join SORAP.
Below are four specific examples:
- The audit and diagnosis carried out by Deloitte – In Extenso on the compliance of the SORAP member practices with the legislative, regulatory, or conventional framework.
- A new website launched in June 2014: More modern, simpler, more complete, and more distinctive.
Despite the general economic situation and a certain doom and gloom, the market for field marketing activities continues to grow and has real potential for growth in the years to come. To achieve this growth, we must be innovative, creative, and more prepared to listen to our clients, and invest in more powerful reporting and analytical tools.
The application we have put in place to frame, consolidate, and promote our activities has helped increase the growth of our activities: it is the result of teamwork driven by the values of openness, ambition, ethics, and constancy to which I am particularly committed, and which will continue to guide my actions.
